The 2025/26 season has been one of significant progress, development, and success for Needham Market FC Women, both on and off the pitch.
Across our First Team and Development Team programme, we have continued to build a positive, ambitious, and player-centred environment that supports individual development while competing for honours. This season delivered a number of team and individual achievements, with players progressing through our pathway, strong performances across multiple competitions, and the club reaching one of the biggest occasions in its history – a cup final at Portman Road.
Throughout the season, a key focus has been ensuring our players are able to perform at their highest level physically while managing the demands of training, matchdays, travel, and recovery. Our partnership with Bio-Synergy has played an important role in supporting this objective.
Products such as Bio-Synergy's electrolyte solutions have become a regular part of players' preparation and recovery routines, helping them stay hydrated and ready to perform throughout a demanding campaign. Beyond the products themselves, the partnership has helped increase awareness within the squad of the importance of nutrition, hydration, recovery, and overall athlete wellbeing.
As the women's game continues to grow, creating professional habits and standards is increasingly important. Bio-Synergy's support has contributed positively to the environment we are building, helping players better understand the role nutrition and recovery can play in supporting performance.
The season has been packed with memorable moments, positive results, player progression, and valuable opportunities for young players to gain experience and continue their development. Reaching a cup final at the iconic Portman Road stadium was a highlight for everyone involved and a fitting reward for the hard work, commitment, and dedication shown by players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, and partners throughout the year.
