Hey Guys, quick update from the weekend ....At the weekend I raced in the first round of the WDBMA race series in South Wales. It was a really good track and it was really technical. Over the weekend the track started to develop into a mud bath. This made the track incredibly fun to ride, but very hard as well.
Sunday was race day and the track was soaking wet! I did about 3 practice runs of the track and started to gather how hard this race was really gonna be. On my first race run I hit the top section with alot of speed, which I carried into the lower sections of the wood and managed to get caught out in a load of ruts - I went flying over the bars and literally slide about 10 meters down the track!
In the end, I cruised over the line in 16th place. Overall I was happy with the weekend as it was really good run and I enjoyed racing in the A class regional event.
Cheers
Adam :)
