With the journey to #Rio2016 fully on the way both Owen and Ben have been busy in their individual disciplines.
Owen has just finished in Baku. He beat the Montenegro fighter Mrvaljevic. A former World Silver medallist that Owen had lost too previously so this was a nice bit a revenge.
Owen unfortunately lost to Portugal in the next round which resulted in his competition coming to an end. Catching up with Owen he said the following:
"I was happy with my performance, but obviously not the result. However, I have got many positives to take from this."
Owen will now head to China in 4 weeks time looking to pick up a medal and some points out there.
Ben has been working hard fitting in his training around the Men's Health Paco Rabanne Invictus Awards. Ben had this to say about his current training and up and coming events:

We are mid season now and I spent a week in Germany working with one of the worlds greatest decathletes - European champion Pascal Behrenbruch.
He lives just outside Frankfurt in a town called Offenbach. We met during my Arizona Training camp in April, pascal bases himself out there to train at the world athletics Center under coach Dan Pfaff.
We got on really well and trained hard for those 5 weeks, I said before the season was over I would get out to Germany to do some more training with him.
In one weeks time I will be representing Team GBR in the European Cup Combined Events Super League in Marseille, France.
My last decathlon in Tenerife went pretty well, I had 2 new personal bests in the discus and 1500m so I hope to build on that performance in France and hopefully improve my lifetime best performance in the decathlon towards Rio Qualification mark.
Fingers crossed for some lovely southern France sunshine and some favourable winds.
