FINAL WEEK..... CHALLENGE OVER?! NAH.... BRING ON THE NEXT ONE! :)

Hi everyone! Well I can't quite believe the 12 week challenge has come to an end for me.... It seems to have gone so fast, have I blinked and missed it?! Tell me it isn't just me... please! ;)
In short this week has been the first week I've actually GAINED weight! I thought "arrrrrggghhh", but on closer analysis I realised that althought I'd put on a pound, my measurements had remained the same and I realised that I had upped my resistance/strength training this week so think the gain may be due to lean muscle growth! Phew! My BMI is now in the ideal range of 22 so think my body loses a little weight and then balances itself by equalising for a week or two and actual weightloss becomes harder to achieve. Quite a few people have told me that they think I've done brilliantly but that they don't think I should lose any more weight as they are worried I will appear too thin! I kind of agree but I know my bum and thighs could do with a bit more sculpting, so we shall see! ;)
I've really enjoyed my time on the challenge and have achieved all that I aimed to so I am a happy bunny. It has given me improved self-esteem and loads more confidence. Enough to bite the bullet and enrol on an online study course with Fitness Industry Education and I'm working towards achieving a Diploma level 3 in Personal Training so that I may set up my own business. I hope to specialise in helping other new mums make the same kind of lifestyle changes that I have, to improve their overall health, vitality, fitness and physiques. So this is not the end of the challenge for me but the start of a new challenging chapter in my life which will see me carrying on my new adopted lifestyle and constantly seeking to improve and achieve.
I hope you have all had positive experiences, on the whole, during your travels on this 12 week challenge. I also want to take this opportunity to wish you all luck for the future and to thank you for all your wonderful support along the way.
MERRY CHRISTMAS & A VERY HAPPY & HEALTHY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL! :)
